let it begin :) so after a faboulous loading i was ready to barf..lol but i have to say the breadsticks were devine..haha but i was feeling lousy by sunday night and anxious to start again... the 4.4 lb gain during load was not fun either!!
today first losses were in at -2.6..i was hoping for a bit more for first day loss, but actually considering i ate a late dinner and out for my chicken and salad.. im glad i got a loss at all..dang going out.. it wasnt my call..a friend of hubbys at last min.. so i did what i could.. so ill take it ;)

p3
sry i havent written, i have been dealing with hives, sickness and trying to figure out p3... what a journey it has been. but p3 is going great... im finding I had to up my fats.. and also eat less protein that what i had been.. which is strange for me i thought the higher protiens would be better, i have always done well with the higher fats, but i thought it was higher protiens too...
i ended R1P2 at 172.8 since starting p3 i fluctuate from 173-174... so im in the 2 lb range.. i wish i coul say i go under..lol but as long as im staying at that 2 pound range im happy. ill post a sampling of my meals as well :)
i have been keeping a home journal of eating and weight.. im finding the on the scale thing to be scary.. lol i have always been a person who never looks at the scale much as long as i could feel me losing weight.. i know thats strange but thats how i was.. i could feel the weight loss.... lol
so i dont want to become a slave to the scale either.. but i do understand the importance of the daily check in... crazy things we do to lose weight.
i am glad i only am doing a short p3.. im already itching to start P2 again.. so halloween is still the goal for first load day. im still up in air if im going to do a moderate or all out load days.. of all the journals ive been reading i still find the load days to be important.. to the point that i think the ones who went really moderate had slower weight loss.. at least thats how i see it after studying.

well my day with no hcg wasnt fun!! i was snacky all day. i hope its all mental.. but i dont know i felt hungry for the first time!! it wouldnt suprise me if this works out of my body fast.. meds act diff in my body!
also i broke out in hives bad yesterday, im not sure what from.. but i had to up my allergy meds again..sigh have been doing really good so i was hoping to not have to do this..
oh well yesterdays menu:

monday-no hcg
had a really busy week, walked all over!! sight seeing thought my legs were going to fall off lol. went on a dinner cruise last night... the meat selection wasnt wonderful was worried, and the veggie section didnt leave alot of choice either so ate best i could but splurged on bite of brownie and a bite of roll...lol but no gain today, so ill tak that. and loss sunday so thats awesome!! looking forward to a more calm week i hope with some good losses..
i have found i do better with one fruit a day, so am going to stick to that.. i think . unless i do a treat.. the strawberry smoothie worked good for me (just frozen strawberries, little cottage cheese, sweetner and water..) in fact i didnt eat it all and my daughter gobbled it up!! so it was great!

well no loss yesterday... lol but today down .8 which i will take hehe. especially after yesterday walking all over (sore feet) and eating at a lunch where i ordered a grilled chicken salad with no dressing and they still put tortilla chips and corn chille on it. lol so no to bed ...yeah..

not too bad :)
down 1lb today :) not going to complain.... was a little down yesterday, but doing ok today.. even went on date with hubby had a dinner salad with grilled chicken on top.. not too bad we will see how it does tomorrow :)

another day :)
well didnt expect a big loss after yesterday's shakes.. i always retain water after being shaky and it was not diff. -.6 loss.. not amazing but I will take it! lol
I did some calorie checking and it looks like i went over yesterday too .. so im going to have to watch a little closer.. man i hate counting calories..sigh. lol

update..
ok so i had really good lunch: hamburger with cumin and cilantro on top of boiled cabbage.. i wasnt hungry so i didnt eat my apple thought i would save it for later. BAD IDEA.. i got shaky about 20 min. after drank a lot of water had a melba toast, even had a sf jello trying to gauge the shakes.. sigh so from now on no fruit on its own, with a meal or not at all!
d: lemon garlic shrimp with 1/2 cucumber. tried a strawberry/spinach smoothie later but no go...lol so i think im going to cut it her and hope tomorrow's scale doesnt show this disaster day! lol

woke up to the awesome numbers 184.2!! thats a 1.4 loss for the night.. i know im slowing down but hopefully wont stop. i have been thinking that maybe ill cut my fruit and melba back to one a day.. in atkins i never was able to add back alot of fruit.. so far im still losing so i wont complain.. but if it looks like maybe it affecting it, then i will probably cut those back.. i found a great forum im a part of and its been awesome ill like it on my page lots of people who have been through this diet and know it well!

-1.6 loss today not as good as i hoped..i hoped to get 2 good days before i lvled off.. oh well ill take what i can get!
not feeling as good today.. been reading some forums and thinking i need some potassium, or magnesium.. im sure its withdrawals.. but man i feel nasty lol.. if i can slide through this week i know ill be ok. took a short nap before kids got home..hope that helps a little !

4.2 lb loss!!
day 4.. woke up and stepped on the scale to the lovely numbers of 187.2 :) (i got on the scale 3 times to make sure that was the right number!!)
now if you count the weight i gained on load days this makes a -4.2 loss in one night! now that i can handle :) i was so excited i had to post! ill catch you up later on what i ate for the day :)...yes im happy i know everday wont be like this so im going to enjoy ;)

was up 2lb from yesterday which from food i ate i would consider normal... but man those pounds still hurt lol..
day 3 first low cal day. not too bad, i was afraid going from the load day to this day might be hard as im sensitive to blood sugar lvls.. and i ate alot of sugar on load days... but not too bad. in fact i have less of a headache than what i did yesterday.
the food was fine, not alot, i can tell it will take adjusting too. not that im starving, just slightly hungry. im sure from the sugar withdrawals.
i even was able to put on son's bday party with out taking a snitch of cake.. lol that is what i call willpower!!
so here is how today went :

lunch: 100g lemon pepper chicken, 1/2 cucumber, melba toast, apple
snack: melba toast (mine were snack size so i allowed myself 1 for snack since i only had one for lunch)
dinner: 100g shrimp cooked with lemon and garlic, tomato, apple, melba toast
drank at least 6 bottled waters, if not more..i dont keep track after 6 lol...
and not feeling too bad trick will be if i survive to lunch tomorrow ;) only the scale will tell

i have to tell you mixing was the scariest for me. i watched the videos of how to mix it a million times. and still when i was so worried about messing up. i think that would be the only big advantage of having a doc.. the mixing. but i made it and it turned out ok i think lol...

After a crazy year with many difficutlties, i found myself way over where i should be weight wise. as many excuses as i can make it comes down to my love hate with sugar.. lol i love it my body hates it! lol so when i friend of mine talked of doing this hcg protocal i looked into it. of course she went to a doc and all that, but i couldnt afford to do so, and also not knowing how long i would be in one place due to my hubbies work i decided i couldnt really go to a local clinic.
